こんにちは。

わたしは けいこ です。 はじめまして。 どぞ よろしく。

I couldn’t resist showing off a little of my new japanese skills. I’m sure I made a mistake in there somewhere, so go easy on me :) Life is good, so I can’t complain. Midterms are coming up next week, so we’ve almost reached the halfway mark of the semester. I must say that it’s going a lot better this time than it was in the spring. I met a lot of new people that I hang out with regularly, and I just started to work again part-time. Now if I can just manage to keep my grades up all is good. I’m still a bit undecided about what to do career wise. As soon as I think I know I change my mind again, so I’m going to drop in and speak with Dr. Mann. I’m hoping she’ll be able to give me some advice.

Anyway, sorry to keep this short, but I just wanted to post so no one thinks I’m dead or anything.

  1. LaShawn,

Sorry…my computer must not have that Japanese font…so it’s just a bunch of squares on my screen. Oh well…I’m still impressed!

Thanks for the comment on my blog. It was really encouraging to hear from you. I am finding a lot of respect, love, and openness to meaningful discussion from those who interact over at de-conversion…more than I’ve found at most Christian sites. I guess it is true (in some respects) that we Christians “eat our young.” I hope I can be different and really show love and respect for others.

I understand what you are saying in your post here about uncertainty in your career path. I am 4 months away from getting my Master’s of Theology degree, and now, I’m beginning to think it’s worthless, and I might have to go back to school just learn something useful so that I can make a living. Ha ha. Oh well, it makes life interesting, right?
